US President Donald Trump and Canadian Primary Minister Justin Trudeau have agreed to shut the US-Canada border to all non-essential travel in an try to control the coronavirus spread.
“We will be, by mutual consent, quickly closing our Northern Border with Canada,” Mr Trump tweeted.
He claimed trade would not be afflicted.
Both equally countries experienced previously issued sweeping travel bans but had managed exemptions for each other.
Canada depends on the US for about 75% of its exports.
