The new feature named “fleets” is similar to vanishing posts on Snapchat and Instagram Tales.

The modifications prompted the hashtag #RIPTwitter to trend as end users complained the new feature would make the micro-blogging internet site as well very similar to other social media platforms.

So far Twitter is only testing the purpose in Brazil.

Kayvon Beykpour, the firm’s merchandise guide, explained the new characteristic would allow men and women to post views they might have felt not comfortable sharing publicly.
