With 720,000 incarcerated men and women, Brazil has the 3rd premier prison populace in the entire world, powering only the United States and China.

A lot of correctional services in the state are overcrowded and situations routinely lead to deadly riots.

But one initiative in the point out of Rio de Janeiro aims to increase the lives of those behind bars. It uses nature to assist them target on reintegrating into society.
