Pets ‘go hungry’ after smart feeder goes offline

House owners of a product developed to release meals for pets say their animals ended up still left hungry through a week-extensive process failure.

Petnet allows owners to timetable and handle feeding via a smartphone app.

When the BBC contacted Petnet on its marketed e-mail address, the email bounced back with a supply failure notice.

A single pet proprietor tweeted: “My cat starved for in excess of a week”, even though other folks complained about other hardware problems.
