A jury has identified film producer Harvey Weinstein guilty on two counts of sexual assault.
He has been convicted on lesser prices of third-diploma rape and a prison sexual act in the very first diploma.
Talking following the conviction, District Lawyer Cyrus Vance Jr described the ladies who testified in court docket towards Mr Weinstein, 67, as “heroic”.
Weinstein – who denied all expenses – was convicted of sexually assaulting former creation assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006 and raping Jessica Mann, a former aspiring actress, in 2013.
Sentencing is established for March 11.
Talking outside the house courtroom Mr Weinstein’s lawyer Arthur Aidala explained to reporters his staff would be appealing, including that they had asked for for Weinstein to be held in a “healthcare facility”.
