Michael Hertz, the male who created the map of the New York City subway process, has died aged 87.
In the 1970s his agency, Michael Hertz Associates, was hired by metropolis transport officials to redesign the previous map.
At the time, crime was on the increase and subway ridership was at its least expensive stage given that the late 1910s. Several travellers rode trains to see sights.
