Country music star Kenny Rogers dies

American country new music legend Kenny Rogers has died aged 81.

A family members representative explained he “handed absent peacefully at house from normal triggers”.

Rogers topped pop and country charts all through the 1970s and 1980s, and received a few Grammy awards.

Acknowledged for ballads including The Gambler, Lucille and Coward Of The County, his career spanned more than six decades.

He once summed up his attractiveness by describing that he thought his ballads “say what each guy wants to say and that every girl desires to hear”.

He was inducted into the Country Songs Hall of Fame in 2013 and, that similar yr, obtained a Life time Accomplishment Award from the Region New music Association.

In their statement his loved ones said he “remaining an indelible mark on the heritage of American music”.
