Previous US President Barack Obama has strongly criticised his successor Donald Trump above his response to the coronavirus crisis.

In a non-public call, he referred to as the US managing of the pandemic “an absolute chaotic catastrophe”.

Mr Obama has reported he wishes to play a greater part supporting Joe Biden in the presidential election in November.
