Italy’s coronavirus demise toll is the second highest in the world, and its lockdown is the strictest and longest in Europe.

Medical professionals say equally items are building a psychological well being emergency.

The BBC has been given accessibility to a psychological guidance centre run by the Red Cross, wherever personnel say they are confused by phone calls from individuals struggling.

Psychologists are warning that Italy is not equipped to deal with the crisis, and that the rest of Europe should get ready.
