An investigation by BBC News Arabic has analysed flight monitoring data and open source footage which exhibits how Iran’s largest airline – Mahan Air – ongoing to fly when authorities flight bans were in area, and contributed to the spread of Covid-19 in the Center East.
Mahan Air ran hundreds of flights to and from Iran, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Syria among late January and the finish of March. All these countries gave Mahan Air authorization to land. And they did so when their own bans on program flights from Iran had been in area.
Resources in just the airline told the BBC that dozens of Mahan Air’s cabin crew had been displaying signs or symptoms of Covid-19 and that when team tried using to elevate worries about the airline’s management of the disaster and provision of basic safety machines, they ended up silenced.
Mahan Air is sanctioned by the US for its one-way links to the effective Iranian Groundbreaking Guard.
