Coronavirus: Barclay on government help for self-employed



Self-used people have not been forgotten when it arrived to economical aid for the duration of the coronavirus emergency, the main secretary to the Treasury has said.

Stephen Barclay instructed MPs offering a plan was “complex”, and there would be no rush to a plan “that begs far more questions than it answers”.

He was answering an urgent issue in the Commons from acting Lib Dem chief Sir Ed Davey.
