British Airways and spending budget rival Ryanair have cancelled hundreds of flights as demand for travel drops amid fears about the unfold of coronavirus.
BA is cancelling 226 flights from 16-28 March to destinations together with New York, Italy, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland.
Ryanair will cut up to 25% of flights in and out of Italy from 17 March to 8 April.
It will come as vacationers and organization men and women slice back again on international journey.
Ryanair manager Michael O’Leary claimed: “Our concentration at this time is on minimising any danger to our men and women and our passengers.
“Whilst we are intensely booked more than the following two months, there has been a notable drop in ahead bookings towards the stop of March, into early April.
