I had the same problem, and this advice worked....

One thing i want to point out is, that you have to fill out the Admin Password in the System Preferences window.
I didn´t do that at first and had this same problem

Yeah, I have that.

Thanks for your help...

Unless, I don't know where that is. But my config.php looks right. Also, why are those hidden folders showing up?

Maybe because of this?

MAIN USER:
User name: XXXXXXX
Password: XXXXXXX

DATABASE USER:
Database: p14kgpa5_64addatabase
User: p14kgpa5_user64
password: pass64

dunno

you need to add something to this value:

$adminpassword = 'YOURPASSWORD';

That allows you to log into the admin area of indxr. http://yourdomain.com/login

That's required.

Thanks for bearing with me...

And sorry for not understanding! here is what I have below. The admin password has always been there.
Is this the place you mean to put it?

CONFIG.PHP file—

<?php
$root_dir = 'http://64admarketing.com/';
$sitename = '64AD';
$description = 'Marketing';
$logotype = 'indxr_logo.png';
$adminpassword = 'XXXXXXX';
$max_thumb = '50000000';
$absolutePath = '/home/public_html/';
$dbuser = 'p14kgpa5_user64';
$dbpass = 'pass64';
$dbname = 'p14kgpa5_64addatabase';
$dbaddress = 'localhost';
$contentData = '0';
$currentTheme = 'jClean';
$hideVideo = '0';
$hideExtensions = '1';
$feedItems = '10';
?>

Your absolute path seems a bit short. Generally it should be something like etc/usr/local/apache/htdocs/ or somesuch. You'd have to check with your host for your absolute path.

Thanks for all your help! Finally worked.

How have you finally made it work? I`ve done everything that was said here and at the other post, but nothing happens...

It has to be running at a Linux server?

My server is running under Windows but it runs PHP.

Does anybody knows what should be going on?

Thank you!

I've not tested on a windows based server. but I would think that if windows is running apache/php/mysql it should be fine. Unless of course the server you are using is not running Apache but some Windows based product.
